Dear West Midlands Police,

I'm writing to you to request information held on file under the freedom of information act. I request all correspondence be in electronic format by return email.

I have recently watched the following video on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnOPvzl8NTo an incident that took place nov-dec 2011.

It outlines some extremely dubious behaviour by officers M.Norris 30944 and Officer S.Riley 7131. Please can you tell me the following:

1) Was this incident reported to west midlands police?

2) Are the officers mentioned above still in the employment of west midlands police?

2b) Else, are they still in employment of any police force?

3) Was disciplinary action taken in regards to the above incident?

3b) If not, will this matter be investigated?

Yours faithfully,

Mr Unwin

Freedom of Information, West Midlands Police

Dear Mr Unwin,

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000

With reference to your request for information, I apologise that the force has not yet provided a response.

An increase in the volume of requests and staff abstractions within the department has, unfortunately, caused a delay with some requests. The force is currently experiencing a significant back log.

However, the force will endeavour to reply as soon as possible.

If you are dissatisfied with the way West Midlands Police has handled your request, you are entitled to pursue the matter with the Information Commissioners Office at www.ico.gov.uk or in writing to:

The Information Commissioners Office

Thank you
