1) Are you using commercial products or is it being entirely developed in-house? If you are, could you name them?

2) Could you provide any documentation with regards to the technical development of the Police National Database?

3) Could you provide the database schema?

Amazing ! What kind of DBMS are they running that does not allow them to run a report extracting the schema ?

They themselves quote the part of the regulations that say "costs which are attributable to the time spent by
persons undertaking any of the activities mentioned above are to be calculated at a standard rate of £25 per hour. This represents the estimated cost of one person
spending a maximum of 2½ working days dealing with a request."

So the claim that £1000/day is the appropriate rate seems wrong.
