FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST

I write in connection with your request for information as shown below.

Under FOI, please supply me with a copy of the questionnaire or a full
list of all questions that must be completed by applicants who

apply for the position of Police Constable at Derbyshire
Constabulary.

Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act). You should expect to receive a response
within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act,
subject to the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a
third party. In some circumstances Derbyshire Constabulary may be unable
to achieve this deadline. If this is likely you will be informed and given
a revised timescale at the earliest opportunity.

There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of
the information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and
the 20 working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment
from you. If you choose not to make payment then your request will remain
unanswered.

Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to
another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest
possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.

Should you have any further enquiries concerning this matter, please write
or contact the Freedom of Information Manager, on telephone number 0345
123 3333 quoting the reference number shown in the header of this e-mail.

Yours sincerely

Rob - You can request a copy of the Application Form directly via the D&C website.

Here's the link:

http://www.police-recruitment.com/police....

The site also contains links to guidance and advice on the application process generally, including a DVD and various publications designed to assist applicants.

Within the framework of the FOI Act, this probably counts as the information being 'already publically available' - meaning the likely response to your request will just be to visit their website and request a copy of the form.

While they may send you one anyway, since the form is free, requesting it via FOI actually delays the process. Why wait 20 days when you could get one quicker by return of post just by asking?

Hope this helps speed things up for you.

Becky

Becky,

The site you link to is a commercial, privately owned site generating ads for profit. It doesn't provide application forms, merely links. And all application forms are mailed through the post, not supplied in e-mail. I do not have to supply a mailing address to have a FOI request answered.

I would appreciate it if you don't try to pre-empt or answer FOI requests on the authorities behalf just by briefly looking up a few irrelevant pages on Google.

You are a police officer who doesn't even reside in this country, and you are a serial annotator who seems to enjoy trolling other people's FOI requests pre-empting them on behalf of the authority.

Please don't do them on mine. Your 'help' is entirely unwanted.
