Please could you provide detailed information on the amount of Tax Payers money has been spent on defending the Post Office including:

. The Group Litigation in the high court?
. The money spent to date 28/11/22 in relation to the ongoing public enquiry ?

In addition to the sums involved please could you indicate to whom this money has been paid and for what specific purpose?

I look forward to a response in the near future as in the current economic climate it is of great interest to me how your department is making decisions to use tax payers money to defend an untenable position.
