PNC Review
Dear North Wales Police,
Re: PNC PND review process.
I understand North Wales Police PNC PND records must be regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain necessary for a policing purpose, and are adequate and up to date.
This means removal of information from all police systems is justified through the review process, to the extent that it cannot be restored.
My question is during 2016 to June 2017 how many PNC records have been routinely removed by North Wales Police that did not involve an ACPO Criminal Records Office application i.e. meaning no information if it was sourced would be found on the Police National Computer.
Yours faithfully,
Mr B. Eliot
