Under freedom of information I'd like to ask
Questions A. - D. Are aimed at the Department for Work and Pensions
Question E. Is aimed at House of Commons
I'm including all the questions for completeness.
A. How many official people were on benefits between the finical years for
1. 5th April 2013 - 6th April 2014
2. 5th April 2014 - 6th April 2015
B. How many (not a percentage) of them above were born disabled
C. How many (not a percentage) of the above where disabled due to illness or hereditary condition
D. In claiming benefits would appropriate medical information be assessed and reviewed
E. Between 5th April 2014 - 6th April 2015
1. What was the total Benefits expediter for the people listed in A.
2. How many elected member of parliament where there?
3. How much was claimed as "salaries" by elected members of parliament
4. How much was claimed as "expenses" by elected members of parliament
Is there a number from A. That suggest been disabled is "lifestyle choice” as suggested by our prime minister.

Freedom of Information Request F16-073
Thank you for your request for information as copied below. You asked a
number of questions about people on benefits and Members of Parliament.
You advise that you have directed the questions A to D to the Department
for Work and Pensions so we have sought to answer your questions E1 to E4
below.
E. Between 5 April 2014 and 6 April 2015:
1. What was the total benefits expenditure for the people who were on
benefits?
This information is not held by the House of Commons. You may wish to
consider submitting this question under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 to the Department for Work and Pensions.
2. How many elected Members of Parliament were there?
The House of Commons holds this information. The United Kingdom is
currently divided into 650 parliamentary constituencies, each of which is
represented by one Member of Parliament in the House of Commons. There are
times when, due to an MP resigning their seat or having died, there are
less than 650.
Between April 5 2014 and 6 April 2015, were less than 650 on the following
occasions:
· 29 April – 5 June - 649
· 28 August – 5 September – 649
· 6 September – 26 September – 648
· 27 September - 9 October – 647
· 10 October – 20 November – 649
3. How much was claimed as "salaries" by elected Members of Parliament
And
4. How much was claimed as "expenses" by elected Members of Parliament
