When you can expect to receive a response to your FOI request

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004, the Council has a legal obligation to
respond to a valid request no later than 20 working days following the
date of receipt.  In certain circumstances, this 20 working day limit can
be extended.

Please send me the numbers of Standards Complaints received by BHCC that
have led to a formal investigation (which I think BHCC describe as a
"Standards Panel" investigation).

I refer to the number of 'Standards Complaints' against a councillor(s)
submitted by residents (please give me this number for calendar years 2013
to date) and the number that were carried forward to a Standards Panel
hearing and/or formal investigation (for the same period).

Please also send me the same data you hold for the same period with regard
to Corporate complaints.
 
 
In order for us to process this request, please could you provide the
following information:
What information are you requesting about Corporate complaints? Do you
want information about Corporate complaints about councillors, or all
formal Corporate complaints?
 
We are unable to process your request without the information being
requested above. Therefore, we have placed your request on hold until we
receive this clarification.

CLARIFICATION received 21/03/2025

On both (a) Standards Complaints and (b) Corporate Complaints I simply
want to know the number of complaints received from residents for each
(2013 to date) and out of that number how many let to formal investigation
and the outcome of those please. By 'Corporate Complaints' I refer to
complaints made by the public against officers.

Perhaps you could indicate investigation that was made public by stating
which councillor/officer.
