The request was successful.

Dear East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust,

A new regime of parking management for staff car parks was introduced on 22nd October 2018 at Colchester General Hospital. This new scheme uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras & is operated by Parkingeye t/as Car Parking Partnership.

As part of the of enforcement of this parking regime Parking Charge Notice (PCN) will be issued for various infringements. The cost of a PCN is £70 (£35 if paid promptly). Previously when parking was managed by the Trust the cost of a PCN was £25 (£10 if paid promptly).

Please can you provide details of the number of PCNs issued in the year before the new scheme was introduced. Please can you also provide the number of PCNs that we paid at the full rate & at the discounted rate? The dates covered should be the 52 weeks prior to 22nd October 2018 when the new enforcement regime was implemented so that a comparison can be made after the new scheme has been operating for one year.

Yours faithfully,

Nigel Barker
