Response:
I can confirm that Brent Council holds the information you have
requested.
The Parks Service has not closed any playgrounds in the last year.
We have opened one new playground in that time at Sherrins Farm.
We do not hold records of vandalism in our playgrounds, but can confirm
that they are frequent and range from graffiti to deliberate vandalism of
playground equipment and floor surfacing.
In the time frame you are requesting there was one accident in a
playground relating to a trip in a grassed area within the playground
causing a twisted ankle.
Our parks playgrounds are inspected weekly with an annual independent
inspection.
