Thank you for your request for information received on 1st July. We have

(1) What date was the play park at Springfield Estate, Pontllanfraith
operational?
The park was operational prior to the creation of Caerphilly County
Borough Council (i.e. before 1996 by Islwyn Borough Council).
(2) When was this play park last visited by the parks team with a view to
regeneration/refurbishment?
The park was visited by the Parks team and Welsh Housing Quality Standard
(WHQS) officers in early June 2019 with a view to
regeneration/refurbishment, this will depend on WHQS funding.
(3) How much funding/expenditure has been spent on this play park in the
past 5 years?
There has been £14,300 spent on this play park in the last 5 years.
(4) Please supply any report designated for the future of this park. Such
as allocated funding?
No such reports.
