Dear Hastings Borough Council,

I am interested in any plans, consultation documents and minutes of meetings (including those present), pertaining to the development of cycling in Hastings and St.Leonards.

I hope 2010 to the present is a reasonable time period. Trying to find about the policy for cycling in Hastings that has lead towards the extension of the seafront cycle lane from the pier into the old town, The Source bmx and skate park relocation, Alexandra Park cycle lane, attitude towards cyclists using pedestrian zones and pavements and specifically the decisions made regarding the safety of the elderly, the young and the disabled due to increased cycling load.

I have previously contacted Rob Woods, Simon Hubbard and Mike Hepworth (with specific regard towards pavement and pedestrian zone cycling) without any of them knowing anything about the subject. Would appreciate finding out who has been decision making.

Please help me also find any pertinent information regarding Hastings future vision for cycling.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Dennis

Dear Information Officer,

Thank you for your reply and the information you sent. I have been ill and unable to read it through properly until today.

It appears to be missing a lot of the information I asked for as it is all about Alexandra Park. I am still none the wiser as to who is involved in policy decisions regarding cycling across Hastings. If you could re-read my initial writing to avoid me typing any more that would be great.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Dennis
