The request was successful.

Dear Royal Air Force,

Sir or Madam
I ask for the following information under the "Freedom of information act 2000" about the Avro Vulcan XM607, currently sited as Static gate guard at RAF Waddington.
I ask If there are any plans to..
● Restore Her asthetically. Ie. By painting or cleaning
● Restore Her to a ground running condition
● Move Her under cover out of the elements to preserve Her further.

As you maybe aware, this Aircraft undertook the famous Blackbuck raid on Port Stanley, The Falkland islands in 1982. It would be a great shame if she was to deteriorate further and be lost to the scrapman.

I thankyou for taking the time to read this request and i look forward to your reply.

Yours faithfully,

Steven Wildman
