Dear Mr Griffiths,
We are writing in regard to your information request. In order to respond
to your request, we need clarification on the following point(s):
• How many planning permission requests were received last year? Are
these applications that have been validated and would appear on the
Planning register? Or are you enquiring about submissions that were
received also, but were closed before validation?
• How many planning permission requests were rejected last year? Do you
mean refused permission?
• How many planning permission requests were rejected due to protected
species? We would not be able to provide this information. When we send
a list you would have to search each decision on the website to look for
this.
• Of these, how many were rejected due to: badgers, bats, birds, dormice,
newts, invertebrates, natterjack toads, otters, reptiles, water voles,
white-clawed crayfish, or other? We would not be able to provide this
information. When we send a list you would have to search each decision
on the website to look for this.
Once we receive your clarification, we will begin preparing our response
to your request. Until then, we have put FOI/6809 on hold.
Yours sincerely,
