Planning Permission
Dear Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council,
I would like to know if you have granted planning on the old Blackburnians field in BB1?
I already know you have which i think is disgusting as it will ruin the area, it will ruin my property as currently i have views of fields and all i am going to see now is a building site.
Not once were we told about this. I have lived there 8 years! I wouldn't mind as much apart from i recently spoke to the council who advised nothing would happen on that field at any point. I have now bought the house and just as i pay my balance and it has transferred to my name somebody who is working on the land has advised me of the mess you are about to make which is going to mean i will loose money on my property value, noise levels will increase meaning it is no longer a quiet street and i will never be able to sell my house at the time i had planned to!
I had been planning to move but as the council advised the land was safe i decided to buy and now i am going to loose out massively or sell the house i love so much that has so many family memories. I am going to have to leave behind all my deceased mothers hard work all because the council lied and have thought only of money and not residents in the area!

Dear Accesstoinformation,
Thank you so much for coming back to me.
I am a little confused though as i know the club were looking to sell the land last year for 2 million and I have recently had the team of environmental noise testers placing microphones in my garden as part of planning.
The person i know advised that planning has been granted and that if i like my home then i need to get out now as it is about to be ruined by a ridiculous estate.
So just to clarify for my own sanity there is absolutely no planning on the below address?

There is no planning application currently registered in this location (Lammack Road). If consultants have been working in the area it may indicate that one might be submitted in the future – but when that happens, neighbours would be notified and the information would be available on the Council’s website.
