Planning enforcements against private companies building on public property

Enfield Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Enfield Council,

I would like to know how many planning enforcements your council has made against private companies who have built on publicly owned land, in particular land owned by your council.

An example might be where a company has bought a property next to council land and then have erected a wall, fence or other boundary structure outside of their land that encroaches on, or is sited on, land owned by the council.

Are you able to tell me how many such enforcements were raised by your planning department, and how many were successful?

If possible, the period covered would be the last 2 financial years, viz. April 2017 to March 2019.

Yours faithfully,

Mr W Brice
