Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS

Dear East Suffolk Council,

Please provide details for the last six years (by year) of any enforcement action that the East Suffolk Council has taken (including predecessor authorities) by prosecuting a planning notice under s187B, s178 and s179 Town and Country Planning Act where multiple versions of the claimed enforcement notice have been identified by the East Suffolk Council as existing.

Please also provide copies of any policies or management guidance adopted by the East Suffolk Council that identify how it should treat a planning enforcement notice that the East Suffolk District Council is unable to identify beyond all reasonable doubt that it issued and served. This would create difficulties where multiple versions of notices are in existence.

Yours faithfully,

Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS

Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS

Dear East Suffolk Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of East Suffolk Council's handling of my FOI request 'Planning Enforcement notices'.

I believe that your response is incorrect.
I am aware of at least one case where the Council prosecuted a notice in the magistrates court and then produced different versions of the same notice that it claimed.

I can provide copies of the notices.

Please provide a correct response.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Stuart Hardwicke CARRUTHERS
