Planning Data

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Westminster City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Westminster City Council,

We would like the following information relating to planning applications information ideally in a CSV file”

"Property Address" " Application Number" "Status" "Proposal"

We do not need the supporting documents, comments, etc.

We are currently building a free service that incorporates a wide-range of property specific information for homeowners in one place. We have already integrated with Land Registry, Royal Mail, Ordnance Survey, VOA, ONS, Data.gov.uk, Historic England, etc. This information would be very useful for our users, so I hope that you can locate it for me.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Wilde

Dear Nita

Thank you for your swift reply, the info provided and all your assistance with this enquiry so far. I have looked at the planning portal and specifically the weekly lists. They only go back six months and running a search does not generate results. We are looking for the database of planning applications since planning applications have been digitised, 1977 appears to be a common year for most councils however whatever date you began digitising be that shorter or longer would be great.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Wilde

Morning Nita

I've done a bit of digging and it appears that Joanne Lodge was the most recent person to openly publish what it is I would like. I've included the link so you can see what I mean. This is great and exactly what I need but the dates are too narrow. Could you contact her or whomever has taken over from her to get the same planning portal download but with the records as far back as possible. (The Earliest I've seen in other boroughs is 1947!!)
