Dear Ms Pope
Freedom of Information Request regarding Parking Eye
Further to your request dated 17 May 2013, I can inform you that Ceredigion County Council does not own the car park at Parc Y Llyn and therefore has no involvement with Parking Eye.
No planning applications have been received by this Authority in relation to the installation of cameras by Parking Eye at the aforementioned car park and therefore no monies exchanged.
As the Council does not own the car park we are unaware of any complaints made regarding Parking Eye and any tickets issued by Parking Eye would be dealt with by them, the Council would have no involvement.
The County Council receives no rental income from Parc Y Llyn Retail park.
If you have any complaints regarding this reply, please write to the Assistant Chief Executive - Legal Services, Ceredigion County Council, Penmorfa, Aberaeron, Ceredigion SA46 OPA or by email to [Ceredigion County Council request email]. If this fails to resolve the matter to your satisfaction, you have the right to apply to the Information Commissioner.
Yours sincerely
Ruth Higham
