Planned Pigeon Detterant Work Manchester
Dear Network Rail Limited,
I am writing to request details of any planned, upcoming work to install Pigeon deterrents in the Greater Manchester area. These include the installation of netting in stations, bridges, structures etc, instilation of spikes and use of exterminators.
Could you please tell me the location, type of deterrent planned, the planned dates of instilation (Or use of extermiators).
Could you also please tell me of any ongoing use of pest control in the region, the locations used and the names of any companies contracted by Network Rail in the area for pest control.

Dear FOI,
Apologies for the excessive delay in my reply, this has been due to some ongoing health issues.
Thankyou for your reply, for the clarifications you have asked for,
Where I refer to Pest control, this is still Pigeon related only, regarding netting, spikes, extermination etc.
By ongoing use I refer to any measures that are currently requiring regular use of staff resources, for example monthly visits by a pest control firm. Any fixed deterrents installed previous, things like the instalation of netting under a bridge, with the project completed and requiring no more work need not apply.
As for reigon I am referring to Greater Manchester and Not Networks Rails North West as a whole.
For specific the details, you are correct with Location, type of deterrent and planned dates.
