Dear Royal Mail Group Limited,

Please find below a request for information under freedom of
information. My contact details can be found below and my
preferred
method of information delivery is email.

All questions relate to the procurement of Mechanical and Electrical responsive and planned building maintenance.

• What is the name of the person who is currently in charge of
responsive maintenance contract procurement?
• What is their Job title?
• At what address are they based?
• What is their email address?
• How many buildings are in your current stock?
• Are responsive maintenance needs within your buildings stock,
currently met by a Direct Labor Organization?
• If yes, what percentage of responsive maintenance work do they
undertake?
• For each contract for Planned and responsive maintenance please can you
confirm the following:
o The renewal date
o The bid process start date
o The term of the contract
o The contract annual value (for the last contract tendered if
necessary)
o Who the current contract holder is
o If there is a framework in place
 If yes, how many firms are on this, who operates on this and is
it a contract specific framework or a framework for all responsive
maintenance contracts, framework value
o Do you use a procurement consortium
 If yes, who

Dear Mr Noakes

I am writing in relation to your request received 31st July 2012 in
response to our email to you on the 24th July 2012, reference KFEN-8VMHFG.

In order to progress your request it is necessary to obtain clarification
in regards to the information you require. Could you confirm that you
require all the original information requested under ref KFEN-8VMHFG, but
specific to the London area? It would also be useful if you could clarify
the time period your request relates to so that we may be able to narrow
your request to contracts for services that were awarded or began within a
specific period of time. Further to this, as stated in our response date
24 July 2012, could you also clarify whether your request relates to
property owned or leased by Royal Mail. Until we have received
clarification from you we are unable to progress your request.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision,
you should write to the Head of Information Compliance, Royal Mail Group,
Company Secretary's Office, 100 Victoria Embankment, LONDON, EC4Y 0HQ. An
internal panel will then review the decision, and you will be advised of
the outcome.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the ICO
