Plagiarism and Collusion in Online Exams

The request was successful.

Dear University of London,

In light of the exams being shifted online in the 2020-21 academic year, may I request for the ways UOL detects plagiarism and collusion among students? It seems like if all the students refer to the same material, they are highly likely to have similar answers as well.

Yours faithfully,
Thomas

Records Management,

Thank you for your email. You have reached the University's Freedom of
Information Officer.
Some University of London buildings are open now but on a limited basis
and for essential services only. We will continue to support our global
community of students. Further information is available at:

Many University staff may still be working remotely and, whilst much can
be dealt with online, the University may face challenges in compliance
with GDPR rights requests where access to records or staff availability is
an issue.
I thank you for your patience and wish you the best of luck in the current
situation.
