Physics admission statistics for 2019 cycle
Dear University of Oxford,
Under the Freedom of Information act, I’m requesting to see the mean, maximum, and quintile scores on the R*score scale set for entry into Physics for applicants who were OFFER HOLDERS. (R*score is defined in the admissions report on the department website as, R*score =!PAT score + 10(cGCSE) , where cGCSE represents the number of standard deviations away from the “expected number of A*s in GCSE adjusted to context”), including the distribution of PAT scores for offer holders. If a distribution is not possible, the 80th and 90th percentile of those who were short listed and those who were offered will do
I also request the expected number of A*s in GCSE for international applicants, along with the standard deviation, for the 2019 cycle.
Yours faithfully,
Rohith S
