Physician associates/Anaesthesia associates
Dear Northern Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),
I am requesting the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please provide the information as an attachment to this request.
1. The current number of physician associates currently employed in the Trust.
2. The current number of anaesthesia associates currently employed in the Trust.
3. A breakdown of the areas where physician associates are currently employed in the Trust by hospital and department.
4. A breakdown of the areas where anaesthesia associates are currently employed in the Trust by hospital and department.
5. The current policies of the Trust applicable to the role of physician associates with a particular focus on their supervision, drug prescribing, and ordering of ionising radiation.
6. The current policies of the Trust applicable to the role of anaesthesia associates with a particular focus on their supervision, drug prescribing, and ordering of ionising radiation.
7. Any Trust policy or planning indicating future recruitment of physician associates.
8. Any Trust policy or planning indicating future recruitment of anaesthesia associates.
If it is impossible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, on how I can refine my request.
