Dear Mr Webster,
Your request was received on 23 January 2022 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’).
You asked:
Please may you provide me with the following data from 2017-2022 cycles for the following
colleges for the Physical Natural Sciences course:
- Emmanuel
- Peterhouse
- St. Catherines
- Trinity
- Jesus
- Christ's
Regarding:
1. The success rate of applicants from state schools 2. The success rate of applicants from
independent schools 3. The percentage of applicants offered an interview 4. The percentage of
applicants that received an offer (including those that were pooled) 5. The percentage of
successful applicants who were pooled 6. The minimum, mean and maximum score of
successful applicants for the Mathematics section of the NSAA 7. The minimum, mean and
maximum score of successful applicants for the Physics and Chemistry section of the NSAA
The requested information, insofar as it is held, is attached. Information about interviews is not held; all
interview processes for entry to undergraduate degree courses at the University are set and managed
locally by each of the individual Colleges, each of which is a separate legal entity and public authority
under the Act.
