Thank you for your email in which you ask: ““Why have you removed your office addresses from web search and when was this done?”.

We have understood your request as referring to the contact addresses on our website which do not include our office locations or their postal addresses. Our predecessor body the IPCC removed our office locations from its website in 2012 when we began processing all post through our central administration hub, PO Box 473 Sale M33 0BW.

Our arrangements for handling post remain unchanged and the inclusion of our office addresses on our website would be likely to result in delays in the handling of post, which would have to be rerouted to our central hub if it was received in one of our offices. In addition, it would not be helpful to the public to publish our office addresses when visits are by appointment only.

Thank you for your email. We do not recognise the addresses you give, which are not the addresses of any of current or former IOPC or IPCC offices. Therefore we cannot account for why you were able to find them by searching the internet, or why you are unable to find these addresses now.
