Photographs of ministers

The request was successful.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please treat this as a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Do you hold electronic, hi-resolution photographs of all your ministers? (Perhaps the ones on their security-passes?)

If 'yes', under what circumstances would you consider releasing any or all of the said photos to the public?

Yours faithfully,

Steve Elibank

Department of Health and Social Care

Dear Department of Health,

Thank-you for your reply. I assume that you misunderstood my initial request, which specifically regarded high-resolution photographs (this is obviously not exempt under Section 21, as there are no such images available online as far as I am aware).

I look forward to receiving a full response within the statutory time-limit.

Yours,
Steve Elibank

Dear Department of Health,

You requested that I define the term "high-resolution" - I would consider any photograph to be high-resolution if it was of a size at least 1200 pixels in either dimension. Please let me know as soon as possible if you need any further clarification.

Yours faithfully,

Steve Elibank

Department of Health and Social Care

Dear Mr Elibank,

Thank you for your further email of 26 January, which clarified your
interpretation of the phrase 'high resolution'.

I am writing again to establish whether you are simply enquiring whether
we hold such photographs, or whether you asking us to release such
photographs to you. If you desire the latter, I'd be grateful if you
could specify those Ministers in which you are interested (e.g. current
Ministers, or Ministers which have now left the Department; names would be
helpful here).

Without this further clarification, I hope you will understand that we
will not be able to further process your Freedom of Information (FOI)
request.

Yours sincerely,

Aimee Gasston

Dear Ms Gasston,

Thank you for your reply. I am primarily enquiring as to whether or not you hold the photographs.

If you do (and this does not impact upon my above question), I would appreciate an electronic copy of the photos of the current ministers and of any ministers who have served in the Department of Health since 2007.

My specific FOI request is thus outlined, I hope.

Yours faithfully,
Steve Elibank
