Photographs of Helen Whately

Waiting for an internal review by Department of Health and Social Care of their handling of this request.

Felicity Harrison

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Thank you for your reply to my request last year.

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

The photograph you sent me was called LH HW 10 and was taken on November 14 2023.

I would like to receive, in line with FOI, the rest of that photoshoot.

I would also like to know the filenames and a description of the other photographs taken using the same camera on the same date.

Yours faithfully,

Felicity Harrison

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Photographs of Helen Whately'.

Your reason for refusing to send me the photographs was {We are withholding the photos themselves under section 40(2) of the FOIA, which provides for the protection of personal information}

Helen Whately left her ministerial role after the General Election last year. If you were relying on your adherence to data protection rules as a reason for not sharing the photos you would have deleted them as soon as she left her ministerial office.

Surely if you are able to bend the rules by keeping the photos you can also bend the rules by sharing them , unless there's something wrong with them?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Felicity
