PG9 Offences and who decides.

Kevin Hancox made this Freedom of Information request to Vehicle and Operator Services Agency

The request was successful.

From: Kevin Hancox

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would request information on the availability of what exactly are
PG9 offences on Public Service Vehicles as follows...

1. What is a prohibitive PG9 Offence

2. What is a Non-Prohibitive PG9 Offence

I also request the information as to who is responsible for
deciding within a copy that you are employed by... As an example,
if you say a bus is not fit, and they instruct you to take the bus
into service, are you still liable as the driver...?

Or would you be passing the buck so to speak onto someone who is
supposed to be qualified...?

And at what level does the liability stop, if you still refuse and
are instructed by a manager, does the liability still lie with you,
or does it move up the chain...?

Yours faithfully,

Kevin Hancox

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for the prompt response, that is also unreadable.

It appears that replies coming through this request are somehow
becoming distorted...

You can check this for your self by following the link you yourself
used...

http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/17...

If you could send the FULL address to the site i can obtain the
information but omitting the http://www from the start of the
address i can add that and should then be able to vies the
documentation

Yours faithfully,

Kevin Hancox
