Alessandro Sorrentino

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'd like to make a Freedom of Information request for the information below. I would request the information be provided in an Excel document.

1. How many reports of petrol stations drive-offs (bilking) did your force receive for the calendar years between, and including, 2007 through to 2017. I would also ask for the 2018 figures from the 1st of January to the 1st of September.

2: For each of the years figures, mentioned above - How many resulted in a conviction?

Yours faithfully,
Alessandro Sorrentino

REPLY:

Please see the attached tables.

Please note the disparity in figures from 2007 to 2010 for both Forces is

Off Without Payment was often recorded as a theft rather than a standalone
offence.
