Dear [email address],Thank you for a reply which has raised a few additional questions. The original request was submitted on 18th February 2024.Why did you wait seven months before deciding no information need be given thanks to possible legal privilege?Did you not know this at the start?More specifically can it really be the case that Post Office can spend £44 Million pounds of tax-payers money with a Law Firm and not have to say what that money was buying? Was Peters and Peters tasked with finding information that would assist the Post Office or its victims?Did Peters and Peters examine any of the 140 cases recently overturned in Scotland?Lastly as you steered me to Simon Recaldins evidemce of a year ago has the Post Office been able to establish a % figure for just how much SPM prosecutions increased following the roll out of Horizon?
Yours sincerely,
john o'sullivan
