Pet shop licence conditions for Pet Planet Superstore t/a Dogs4Us Ltd.
Dear Salford City Council,
I am requesting the following information under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
1. What are the conditions stipulated in the pet shop licence granted under the Pet Animals Act 1951 for Pet Planet Superstore t/a Dogs4Us Ltd. ("Dogs4Us") located at Agecroft Road, Pendlebury, Manchester, M27 8SN?
2. What are the conditions stipulated in the animal boarding establishment licence granted under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963 for the animal boarding premises ("the premises") located at the aforementioned address?
3. How frequently are Dogs4Us and the premises inspected by the Council or persons acting on behalf of the Council?
4. When did the last inspection take place?
5. On the last inspection, were any welfare issues noted with the animals at Dogs4Us or on the premises?
6. If yes, what was the nature of these issues?
7. What action - if any - was taken on these issues?
8. Have the issues now been resolved to the satisfaction of the Council?
9. Are there any ongoing concerns regarding the welfare of the animals at Dogs4Us or on the premises?
10. If yes, what action is being taken by the Council to resolve these issues?
11. Since 1 January 2010, have any complaints been raised with the Council by members of the public relating to the welfare of the animals at Dogs4Us, subsequent welfare issues following purchase of animals at Dogs4Us, or the welfare of the animals on the premises?
12. If yes, how many complaints have been received from the aforementioned date until now ("now" being defined as midnight on 29/04/15)?
