The Freedom of Information Team has been provided with the following information in response to

How many adults have an allocated personal budget from NCC?
As of 30/07/2016 - 4119 clients.
How many of these are "managed" by NCC staff?
All personal budgets are managed by NCC staff in the sense that the support plan and
personal budget is agreed with the client and is reviewed as explained below.
Approximately 900 clients have Holding Accounts where the Centre for Independent Living
provide additional support concerning the management of these personal budgets.
How many are used to procure services from NCC associated companies /and which ones are
used eg Olympus Care etc?
Olympus Care Services - 403 clients.
How often are the budgets and holding accounts reviewed with individual service users and their
supporters to ensure that they continue to be appropriately managed by council staff?
Care and support plans are reviewed either annually or at an earlier time where an
individual’s circumstances have changed or where requested by the individual. Any
