Percentile Points from 1 to 99 for Total Income Inflation Adjustment Query

The request was successful.

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

Please can you confirm if the data provided in the published file "Percentile points from 1 to 99 for total income before and after tax" has been "equalised" for inflation (link below)?

https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics...

I have read all the notes in the spreadsheet and couldn't find anything to suggest it has been so suspect not but please confirm either way.

If it hasn't been adjusted for inflation, please can you provide this if available / possible? Or please can you provide the means / process to do this myself?

Could I use the "Table 8: Consumer Price Index including owner occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) deflator", as found in the "Nowcasting household income in the UK: Financial year ending 2017 - Reference Tables"(link below for reference)?

Dear John Perks,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 Acknowledgement

Thank you for your communication of 17th December which has been passed to
HMRC's Freedom of Information Team.

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
to contact us.

The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either
comply with HMRC's obligations under Freedom of Information Act or, if we
think it's an enquiry that we don't need to address under the terms of the
Act, let you know why. If it is the latter we will, if possible, pass it
on to a more appropriate part of the Department for answer.

Yours sincerely
