William Clennell

Dear Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation,

Please provide (if available) the percentage of pupils scoring 11 A*s / 8s (88 points), 10 A*s / 8s and 1 A / 7 (87 points), 9 A*s / 8s and 2 As / 7s (86 points) etc. at GCSE Level. I know that data on the proportion of pupils scoring 5 A*-C / 9-4 is already available, and therefore I would presume that similar data is available broken down per pupil. If possible, data would be presented in the form:
88 points - e.g. 0.001%
87 points - e.g. 0.1% etc., with the total number of pupils admitted given.
Please provide this data for 2016 and 2017.

In the same structure, please provide the percentage of pupils scoring 5 A*s, 4 A*s and 1 A, 3 A*s and 2 As etc. at A Level using an arbitrary point scale of 6 points for an A*, 5 points for an A etc. down to 1 point for an E. Please provide this data in the same structure as above for 2016 and 2017.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
William Clennell
