PEPU Service level - PCN Challenge / Formal Representation / Appeal - response times (in working days)

Mr A.K.W. Gaskin made this Freedom of Information request to DfI Roads This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Transport NI,

Please would you provide details of when one could reasonably expect a response from the Parking Enforcement Processing Unit for the following situations:-

1. PCN Challenge
2. PCN Formal Representation
3. Appeal

Please would you provide the three answers in 'number of working days' as is the norm for Public Authority Service Levels. Please also would you indicate if the information can be publicly viewed, as I have not found such on the Department of Infrastructure website.

Many thanks, I look forward to a prompt and timely response to this request.

Yours faithfully,

Dear DfI Roads Parking, (F.A.O. Hugh)

Many thanks for your correspondance of 8th December 2016, and for your apology on behalf of the Department, for the delay in response to my enquirey.

I am aware of an instance where the PEPU required 61 working days to come to a determination regarding a PCN challenge, which seems excessive - hence my enquirey. I can see from the information in your answer that the time-scale on that occasion did appear to fall somewhat short of the Departments service aims.

Thank you again for your response.

Yours sincerely,

Mr A.K.W. Gaskin
