Pension fund allocation
Dear Vale of Glamorgan Council,
I am requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding how the council invests its pension fund. I would like to understand how the council's pension fund is being used to promote sustainability. Specifically, I request the following information:
1. What proportion of the pension fund is currently invested in industries or companies that actively promote sustainability, green energy or climate action?
2. What proportion of the pension fund is currently invested in the arms trade, military contractors or the defence industry?
3. Does the council have any targets for how much must be invested in these areas?
4. Does the council have an ethical investment policy guiding how pension funds are allocated?

The Vale of Glamorgan Council does not hold this data as the Cardiff and Vale Pension Fund is managed by Cardiff Council.
