Pension abatement policy

Robert Moss made this Freedom of Information request to Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner did not have the information requested.

Dear Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner,

Can you provide a policy which covers pension abatement, I am particularly interested in any abatement policy or documents which may detail how pension abatement is handled, particularly including the re-employment of senior police officers, whether that be by your authority, any other police authority or even any fire authority.

Secondly, can you give me any numbers of senior officers re-employed under the circumstances described above, and how many from that total number have had pension abatement applied to their pensions?

Yours faithfully,

Robert Moss
