Dear Mr Harrold,
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information (ATI0000877) under the provisions of the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
1. What is your AIS policy/requirements showing a live track i.e is it supposed to be live whilst the
vessel is under way, or at the discretion of the skipper?
I can confirm that CCW has no policy in relation to the above but choose to leave the AIS on
permanently.
2. How may times has the vessel been used for "Seasearch"activities and who funded these trips.
Can you provide details of costs associated to CCW direct, and funding allocated via the
Seaserch grants.
Pedryn has never been used for Seasearch activities
3. Can you provide a brief activity summary for the past 12 months detailing Date out, duration,
crew number and brief explanation of the tasks conducted.
Please see below (annex A) summary of Pedryn’s activity from September 2011 to September
2012.
