PCNs served at junction of Savile Row/Conduit Street for proceeding in wrong direction

The request was partially successful.

Dear Westminster City Council,

Freedom of Information Act 2000: Request for information

In your response to Mr Argue on 11 April 2011 (your ref: FOI/6838) you advised as follows: "the number of PCNs served, under contravention code 32, for failing to comply with the Left Turn Only sign at the junction of Savile Row/Conduit Street using mobile CCTV enforcement is 38. The PCNs were served from 23 February 2011 to 25 March 2011."

I believe these contraventions are of The Traffic Management Order WCC 1999 No. 131, which came into force on 19 July 1999. Clause 4 orders the left turn.

Regarding contraventions of this turn left only order, please provide me with the following information: (1) a total number of contraventions for each calendar year from 01 January 2000 to 31st December 2018, and (2) a list of all months from August 1999 in which the total number of contraventions was at least the number of days in that month.

Should information not be available as far back as 19 July 1999, please provide as much information as possible within the FOI cost limit, providing more recent information in preference to older information to reduce cost.

Should cost constraints further allow, please also provide: (3) a total number of contraventions since 19 July 1999 to date, and (4) a total number of contraventions from 23 February 2011 to date.

Yours faithfully,

Jon Vyse
