PCN's issued. The Strand, Dawlish

The request was successful.

Dear Teignbridge District Council,

Would you kindly supply the number of PCN's issued on the North side of the Strand. Dawlish from May 2008 to mid July 2011.

Please review, should the North side be incorrect, as it is the Lawn side of the Strand which is of interest.

Yours faithfully,

Martin H Dix

Apologies, the North Side of the Strand is not as I stated the Lawn side.
For clarification it is the Disabled Bays outside Stokes (greengrocer)and Lloyd Maunder (Butcher)

I would also appreciate an acknowledgement of my request

Dear Freedom of Information,

Further to my F.O.I. request No. 1275 to which you replied :-

[ I am unable to drill down to provide more detailed information as it has been estimated that the
cost of complying with your request would exceed the appropriate limit of £450; the
appropriate limit has been specified in regulations. This represents the estimated
cost of one person spending 2½ working days in determining whether the
department holds the information, and locating, retrieving and extracting the
information.]

Owing to the fact that details of offences are recorded on handheld devices and then transferred to desktop computers, where it is certainly simpler
to interrogate and obtain said details in a fraction of the time.
I have obtained information to the effect that the system used in Devon to issue Penalty Charge Notices and the software for the administration of the issued Penalty Charge Notices, is supplied by SPUR Information Solutions LTD based in Hampshire a recognised company in this field and they pride themselves on the ease of recovery of Data.

In view of this may I ask you to please reconsider my request for the said information

Yours sincerely,

Martin H Dix

FOI Office,

I would appreciate a review of K Mason's decision to be made and answered within the 20 day statute.

I would also advise that I have now seen how the details are entered into the hand held computer by CEO's, which includes the exact location of the alleged offending vehicle.
This information is then downloaded to the main frame in Teignbridge offices.
The requested information will be a simple search to retrieve said details.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew McKenzie,

Dear Mr Dix

Thank you for your email. I can find no correspondence (by email or on
the whatdotheyknow.com website) in which you formally request that the
Chief Executive review the decision made by the Solicitor to the
Council; merely a request for confirmation that one is taking place.

I will treat this email as a formal request and advise that the Council
has 20 working days to respond.

6 September 2011 a request was made on wdtk site confirming email request also. Why start another 20 day delay ? Playing for time comes to mind !

Dear Andrew McKenzie,
If you review the letter from Sue Aggett 5th September on this site you will see, it is she who advises that should I not be content with her refusal etc.
I replied asking for a review on the 6th also available to view on this site.
I also suggest you read my additional messages.
