Under the freedom of information act 2000, please could you provide me with the following:
1) A copy of the relevant traffic order & proof that the CCTV camera 176, used at location Norwood Road, is an approved device.
2) The number of PCN's issued via CCTV for the location on Norwood Road, covered by camera 176, within the year 2011/2012 & 2012 up to the present date (2013).
3) The total amount paid to Lambeth Borough Council in fines as a result of the PCN issued during the years: 2011/2012 & 2012 up to the present date (2013), by camera 176.
4) Can i have a copy of your CCTV Code of Practice
5) What regard is given to the ICO code of practice?

This request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. Your queries, and the answers to them, are listed below.
1. You requested copy of the relevant traffic order and proof that
the CCTV camera 176, used at location Norwood Road, is an approved device.
Please find VCA Approval Certificate attached.
2. You asked for the number of PCN's issued via CCTV for the location
on Norwood Road, covered by camera 176, within the year 2011/2012 and 2012
up to the present date (2013).
In 2011/12, 1825 PCN’s were issued; 2012 to date, 2458 PCN’s have been
issued.
3. You asked for the total amount paid to Lambeth Borough Council in
fines as a result of the PCN issued during the years: 2011/2012 and 2012
up to the present date (2013), by camera 176.
In 2011/12, this amounted to £105759.50; 2012 to date, this amounted to
132917.05.
4. You requested a copy of the CCTV Code of Practice – please find a
copy attached.
5. You asked what regard is given to the ICO code of practice. I am
advised of the following:
“ICO code of practice covers surveillance as dealt with by our Community
Safety CCTV Team at Shakespeare Road [depot]. CCTV traffic Enforcement
observe the Data protection Act as mentioned in that code when we capture
incidents that happen while monitoring.”
