PCNs issued by traffic enforcement cameras split by disputes

Alex Rigg made this Freedom of Information request to Lambeth Borough Council Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

On the 19th January I submitted a FOI request. You reference for this request was IRN23451538. On the 11th July you responded with some data. I replied on the 12th of July. Crucially, the data was not adequately labelled and so it was open to my interpretation as to what was meant by the data that was provided. Additionally the data was in a very unusable format. Additionally because it was almost 6 months since the request was made, the data was very out of data. I therefore requested that the data be suitably labelled, the data be provided in an excel sheet, and that the data be provided for a more recent time period. I have not received a response to this last message, and therefore I am creating a new request here to cover this. For completeness I will provide the full request here;

Please provide the number of PCNs issued by traffic enforcement cameras. Please provide this data broken down by type of camera (fixed position or not), camera location, contravention code (e.g. 34J), and year, from 1st January 2015 to the latest month available of the current year. Please could this data also be split by whether the PCN was challenged/disputed or not. Please could this data be fully labelled, including the detail on the latest date of the data available (e.g. "2024 (up to August)"), and could this data please be provided in an excel sheet.

Yours faithfully,

Alex Rigg

Dear Lambeth Council,

Thank you for your response dated 16th August 2024. Your Reference; IRN27799433.

You have provided the data in a PDF file. My request for an excel sheet for this (or a CSV file).

I also requested confirmation of the 2024 period which has been provided. I.e. is the "2024" data up to the 31st July 20224, or August the 13th 2024, or 4th June 2024?

Yours sincerely,

Alex Rigg

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Lambeth Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'PCNs issued by traffic enforcement cameras split by disputes'.

I have heard nothing back since I responded to your FOI response. You have shown that you have the data and can provide it, but it is almost impossible to use the data that you have provided in the format that you have provided it, and without the asked for context of the date information for the 2024 year.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Alex Rigg
