PCNs - Bus Lane - Clapham Park Road/Abbeyville Road

The request was partially successful.

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

The following information is requested under the Freedom of
Information Act.

A) For each calendar year (not compiled) 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012

1. How many PCNs have been issued for code 34J contraventions on all bus lanes across Lambeth borough?

2. What revenue has been generated by enforcing code 34J on all bus lanes across the borough?

3. How many PCNs have been issued for code 34J contraventions for this bus lane only?

4. What revenue has been generated by enforcing code 34J on this bus lane only?

B) In late 2009, Lambeth Council responded to public outrage by acknowledging that the bus lane was non-compliant and therefore unenforceable. In January 2010, works were undertaken to remedy this ("There is now a bus/cycle/taxi sign before the bus lane starts showing the dotted, angled white lines. There is also a bus/cycle/taxi sign at the start of the bus lane itself showing the bus lane with the thick white line."). Confirm if any additional work has been done since, at which date(s), and the nature of the work.

C) In order to compare Clapham Park Road/Abbeville road's bus lane policy & performance against other bus lanes' in the borough, can you please provide:

1- The total number of bus lanes in the borough enforcing hours of control

2- The names and hours of control of all bus lanes across the borough. Your site lists all those controlled by CCTV http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/Services/Trans..., I would also like a breakdown of those not controlled by CCTV

3- Can you confirm that "N/A" on this page http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/Services/Trans... means that the corresponding bus lanes do not have enforcement of hours of control?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,

L.Bascle

Dear all

Could you clarify on route 87 the traffic management order mentions Wandsworth road "At any time", but I cannot reconcile that to your Bus Lanes Hour of Control document here http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/Services/Trans..., because the key/description to each part of Wandsworth rd differs.
In any case, in the link above all portions of Wandsworth rd have hours of operations until 7pm latest, whereas the order mentions "at all time".

Thanks for the clarification

Yours sincerely,

L.bascle
