• The value of the payment
• The purpose of the payment
• The amount of the payment that has been spent
• The amount that has been committed but not spent
• The amount that has not been committed or spent
• The amount that has been repaid
• The reason for the repayment
Please provide these details for the following years:
• 2012-2013
• 2011-2012
• 2010-2011
• 2009-2010
• 2008-2009
Please also provide details of any unspent money that dates back to
before 2008-9.

Dear Ruth Hayhurst,

I write in respect of your Freedom of Information request dated 10
December 2013. This request has been handled under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

I am writing to ask you to clarify your request as we need further
detail from you in order to ensure that we have understood your request
correctly and to identify and locate the correct information. Your
request was:

"Please provide the following details for all payments received under
Section 106 planning agreements:
* The value of the payment
* The purpose of the payment
* The amount of the payment that has been spent * The amount that has
been committed but not spent * The amount that has not been committed or
spent * The amount that has been repaid * The reason for the repayment
Please provide these details for the following years:
* 2012-2013
* 2011-2012
* 2010-2011
* 2009-2010
* 2008-2009
Please also provide details of any unspent money that dates back to
before 2008-9."

1. Legal agreements usually require contributions for more than one
purpose. Where you refer to the "purpose" of the payment please could
you clarify whether you require information concerning how much
contribution was required for each purpose or for each application.

2. For your questions concerning amounts for each year please
confirm whether you require a total for each year, for example, a total
for all unspent contributions per year or something else. Please note
that if your request is for information to be broken down further, eg,
by contribution type compliance with your request for this information
may exceed the costs limits set under Section 12 of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. The time required to locate, retrieve and
extract the information may exceed the 18 hour limit.
