Dear Truro and Penwith College,

On the 25th of October 2010 I wrote to you under the Freedom of Information Act, asking you to detail any payments made to the registered charity "Common Purpose" from the year 2000 to the present day, and to detail the number of staff who were sent on training courses provided by common purpose in this period.

Under the Freedom of Information Act you are required to respond to my request promptly, and by law you should have replied by the 22nd of November 2010.

You have failed to meet this deadline, and I now must request that you conduct an Internal Review into your handling of my request. If I have not received a response and the information I requested within the next 20 working days, I will be forced to take the matter to the Information Commissioner.

You can find my original FoI request here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/pa...

Yours faithfully,

Hello Ben

Thanks for the response.  You are correct that a Mr [name removed] was the
original sender.  I received two attempted requests before Christmas and
tried several times to reply.  Each time I got an error message in
response and didn’t know where else to try.  We retained the error reports
with our Disclosure Log

More recently I received the same request for information from a student
here, and asked him if it was the same person asking.  He replied not, but
he also gave me Jonathan [name removed] name, so I tried Google and found your
site.

With regard to the original enquiry about the Common Purpose Programme,
two members of staff undertook the programme at a cost of £4641.25 each
inc VAT.  These are the only payments made to Common Purpose by, then,
Truro College, now Truro and Penwith College since 2000.

Regards
