Payments to Mr Neil Storey
Dear East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust,
Your Trust seems reluctant to reveal any details around Mr Storey's resignation last August. It was later revealed that he had been put on paid gardening leave until July 2014. A simple internet search of information provided by him shows that he was working for various organisations including the NHS during that same period
"Service Redesign Manager, North Middlesex Hospital -December 2013 – March 2014
Operations Lead, Northampton General Hospital -April 2014 – June 2014
Principal Consultant, Independent Advisor, Revolutionise Limited -November 2013 – Present"
I believe there is a real public interest story here about how much he was paid by your Trust for a period when he was effectively being paid twice by the NHS. These funds could have been put to better use looking after members of the public. I wish to know how much he was paid by your Trust while on gardening leave. This is no different to wanting to know how much a public servant is paid for doing a job and you have already said what some pay bandings are for other employees.
Yours faithfully,
J Lowe

Dear J Lowe
Further to your email below dated 4th October 2014 (F18592), the Trust will be examining this alongside your internal review requests dated 5th September (F18367) and 2nd October (F18487). We have determined that given the fact that the topics appear to overlap that it would be practical if we reviewed and responded to these together.
The Trust has already begun processing this and we will have our response to you as soon as we are able.
Kind regards
