Payments made to One Medicare Limited (Formerly One Medical Group Limted) in relation to Priory Avenue APMS Contract

We're waiting for Dr Andrew Brewster to read recent responses and update the status.

Dr Andrew Brewster

Dear NHS England,

I should like to submit a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 with respect to funding received by One Medicare Limited (Formerly One Medical Group Limited) in relation to their APMS contract for Priory Avenue Surgery.

I understand that One Medicare Limited's APMS contract includes Circuit Lane Surgery.

I should be grateful for information relating to total funding for this APMS contract since One Medical Group took over the contract to run the two surgeries in September 2016.

If it possible, it would be helpful to receive information of a breakdown of total funding costs proportioned to the respective surgeries.

With respect to this information request of total funding costs required to run the two surgeries since One Medical Limited took over the APMS contract, please could you also provide funding information in relation to the financial recovery plans which were put in place via NHS England and North and West Reading Clinical Commissioning Group as a direct consequence of the practices being put into 'Special Measures' following inspection via the Care Quality Commission.

Thank you for your assistance with this enquiry

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Brewster

NHS England does not hold this information.

It may help if we explain that NHS England is not ‘the NHS’.

The NHS in England is not a single organisation but is made up of a range
of organisations such as Hospitals, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs)
and Ambulance Trusts. NHS England is responsible for commissioning primary
care services such as GP and dental surgeries, as well as some specialised
secondary care services.

Therefore, any recorded information NHS England may be able to provide in
response to an FOI request will generally relate to the services NHS
England commissions. For information on commissioned services and the
types of information NHS England holds can be found on our [1]website and
[2]publication scheme. For further information on the NHS, its structure
and other NHS organisations please refer to NHS Choices [3]here.
