Dear Welsh Government,
There has been considerable news reporting on the use of procurement cards by the Welsh Government. For example:
This request concerns the card used to make the payment of more than £100 to the lingerie company Victoria's Secret.
1. Please provide the date the £100 payment to Victoria's Secret was made.
2. Please provide the total amount spent on this card for the year 2015/16.
3. For the 5 transactions made immediately before the payment to Victoria's Secret, and for the 5 transactions made immediately after, please provide the expense type, supplier name, transaction date, and amount.
Dear Welsh Government,
In light of your recent response to another user of WDTK I wish to modify my request.
Your responded thus:
"The Victoria’s Secret transaction was made through fraudulent use of the card details by a third party. This was flagged by the Welsh Government’s procurement card provider and the purchase did not involve a Welsh Government employee. The amount was refunded by the card provider themselves and the card cancelled and reissued. As no Welsh Government employees were involved the Welsh Government does not hold any receipt in respect of this transaction."
I no longer require information for the period after the Victoria's Secret transaction. Instead, please provide the same information I requested for the 10 transactions immediately before the Victoria's Secret transaction. Please also provide the date on which the new card was issued.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Dear J Roberts
