Paying WCA Contractors

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please make it known to me the process by which contractors of DWP, such as Atos, Maximus, etc,. receive payment for conducting the Work Capability Assessments on behalf of the United Kingdom Government?

To clarify: please respond, giving the steps of process from the initial sending of the order to attend an assessment to the disabled person, to the final step where the payment for conducting the WCA is placed in the bank account of the contractor ie Atos, Maximus, etc.

Please also supply me with information regarding the following question: Do any of the above named contractors or employees of such receive bonus payments for removing disabled persons from state benefits - in other words, like salespeople do, are there targets to meet and financial rewards given if met?

Yours faithfully,

Peter McNab

Please give a reasonable explanation as to why the information requested regarding the payments awarded to greed-driven corporate sector American companies for removing the disabled from disability benefits here within the UK are made.

By law, you should have responded promptly to my request.
