Freedom of Information: Right to know request

 

Thank you for your email of 1 August 2022, in which you asked for ‘the
total value of spend on staff recruitment agencies’.

And for your second email on the same day, in which you asked for ‘details
of salary ranges by grade’.

 

Please see Annex A below for the full text of your two requests.

 

Before answering your request, we should explain that we have aggregated
your two separate emails and processed them in accordance with the Act as
one request under the reference number shown above. This is because, under
guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office, a public
authority may aggregate requests in the following circumstances (amongst
others):

 

•      Two or more requests for information have been made to the same
public authority;

•      The requests are from the same person;

•      The requests relate to the same or similar information.

We have processed your emails in line with the provisions of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and our response is below. Please accept

We would like to explain that our recruitment process for hiring up to
Executive level is outsourced to an external provider, Resource Solutions
Ltd. Resource Solutions is our third party outsourced provider for end to
end recruitment and onboarding for permanent and fixed term contract roles
up to Manager grade.

 

The agencies used for Executive recruitment are Moloney Search, Odgers
Berndston and Korn Ferry.

 

The total value of recruitment agency spend for permanent and fixed term
contract hiring at all levels by financial years can be found below:

recruitment agencies and how much was spent IN TOTAL in EACH of the
following financial years:

• 2021/22
• 2022/23 (to date)

 

·         Please can you provide details of salary ranges by grade. Salary
should be pro rata for full time annual salary and include base salary and
flexible salary. Bonuses, benefits, and pension contributions should be
excluded. Latest available data is requested.

 

The table should be broken down by following grades: Director, Head of
Department, Manager, Technical Specialist, Senior Associate & Lead
Associate, Associate, Administrator

 

For each grade the following information is requested:
